In today’s era of fast emerging technologies, new global markets, and ever evolving employee needs, we often ask ourselves, What does the future world of work look like? How will organizations shift to survive this digital Darwinian evolution? How will these dimensions impact us as humans? In 2016, we turned our questions into action. The team behind SOULWORX brought together a handful of enthusiastic, like-minded individuals to kick-start a vision we called Humans Of New Work, an exciting online space for exploring the democratized future of work — new work. A platform that gives voice to all those who dare question the workplace status quo. We believe everyone has an angle, a story, and a piece of advice for the movers and shakers of today and tomorrow. And we want to hear it.
What does the future of work hold?
There’s no one-size-fits-all, no playbook, no right way. The future of work is not about adhering to molds; it’s a call to reshape them. We encourage individuals to seek their own truths and take part in the journey of redesigning their lives holistically, with their and other’s needs in mind. The future of work is more than just employing the newest digital tools, engaging in ‘design thinking,’ commuting to a co-working space every day or partaking in trendy innovation labs. The future of work lies in a holistic mindset change, and it all starts by placing individuals at the core. Both humans and organizations need to start asking, What do I want to contribute? What impact do I want to achieve? Competition is tough. The times of keeping our noses to the grind and not looking to the future are over. It’s time for a shake up.
