Val Racheeva realized quite early in her career that she needed to create something on her own to have an impact. Even though she never planned on working in this field, she felt that there was a significant need to support female entrepreneurs. Her inner voice encouraged her to meet up with different women to brainstorm, talk about business and create ideas. She’s always been an active person, effortlessly connecting with others, wanting to experience different fields, try out projects and volunteer. Adhering to her intuition, she set up a first meeting where eight women showed up. At the second meeting, there were already 32 women in attendance. By the third, she was speaking in front of over 50 women.
“Through organizing such events I got in contact with many early stage female entrepreneurs and women who were potentially interested in creating a business. I started experimenting with different workshop formats and different messages to find out what they really needed and what their problems were. It turned out to be something like field research.”
Having heard all the stories and issues these women were facing, especially as female entrepreneurs, Val decided to take advantage of her insight and turn them into something positive. She started WeFound Community, a social startup that serves as a global support community for female founders, entrepreneurs, and fans who want to make a difference. Through WeFound, Val organizes motivational and inspirational events and workshops for personal development and business skills. On the other hand, she offers women the opportunity to connect with co-founders, mentors, and investors as well as to showcase their businesses. More recently, she has also started to work on the Female Founders Book together with fellow fempreneur, Maxi Knust, in the hopes of helping more women take both their business and life to the next level.
“My vision keeps me going. I want to see more women following their dreams.”
She feels exceptionally inspired when looking at the young women of today. “I see that they are so brave, open-minded and have good technical skills. There is so much we can learn from them.” It’s imperative to not live by other people’s perspectives, explains Val. “Try out different things and listen to your inner voice. If you don’t engage in new things, you won’t find your place in the world.” Considering the current state of affairs, she says that female energy is sorely missing in this world. Men could also benefit from embracing their feminine side. To her, it is all about taking these steps, making a difference and having an impact.
“If you invest in one woman, you invest in a generation.”

She feels very inspired, when looking at the very young women of today. “I see that they are very brave, open-minded and have good technical skills. So there are many things for us to learn from them.” Val thinks that it is very important to not live by other people’s perspectives.
“Try out different things and listen to your inner voice. If you don’t dare to engage into new things, you won’t find your place in the world.”
Considering the current situation in general, she states that the female energy is missing in this world. Men could also benefit from embracing their feminine part. To her it is all about taking these steps, making a difference and thus having an impact.
